3Charging Fastest 5G Challenge Prize Draw Terms
Fastest 5G Challenge
(the “Game”)
These terms and conditions are the rules which apply to this Game and Game PD (as defined below). By playing this Game and entering the Game PD, participants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by them. Please do not play, or later enter the Game PD if you cannot or do not want to agree.
1. Promoter
1.1 This Game and the Game PD is organised and run by Hutchison 3G UK Limited, trading as Three of Green Park, 450 Longwater Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, RG30 3UR (“Three” or “We”) and the Prize (as defined at paragraph 6 below) for entering the Game PD is administered and provided by Three.
2. Dates, Timing & Venue
2.1 This Game will be available to play from a festival 3Charging kiosk from its opening until close time, each day at the following festivals: Rockstar Energy presents Parklife Festival; Rockstar Energy presents Wireless Festival; Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT Festival; Barclaycard presents Latitude Festival; and Rockstar Energy presents Reading Festival.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Participants can be of any age and do not have to be a Three customer to play. Entrants must be a UK resident and be a visitor to the 3Charging kiosk (“Eligible Players”). Neither this Game nor this Prize Draw is open to employees of Three, its agents, contractors, consultants, or anyone professionally connected with the Prize Draw.
4. The Rules of the Game
- Eligible Players are permitted 1 (one) play of the Game each per visit to the 3Charging kiosk.
- This is a light reaction game where Eligible Players must tap the dots as they illuminate, each dot tap being worth 1 point.
- There is a time cap of 30 seconds per play.
- Eligible Players that score 35 points or above will be eligible to enter the Game’s prize draw (“Qualifying Entrants”).
- Qualifying Entrants will be invited to share their first and last name and email address to be entered into the Game’s prize draw (the “Game PD”).
- There will be 1 (one) prize (see paragraph 6 below) available to win per Game PD.
- Only one entry per Qualifying Entrant will be considered by Three and entered into the Game PD.
- Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
- Each Qualifying Entrant warrants that all information submitted by them is true, accurate and complete and Three is not responsible for any information which is invalid or incomplete.
- Three reserves the right to exclude and/or disqualify any entry which it deems, in its sole and absolute discretion: (i) to be offensive or inappropriate; (ii) fails to comply with these Terms; and/or (iii) to be contrary to the spirit or intention of the Game PD.
5. Entry
5.1 There will be one Game PD per festival. Each Game PD will open on the first day of the relevant festival and end at the closing time of the 3Charging kiosk on the final day of the relevant festival. To enter the Game PD, Qualifying Entrants must enter their first name, last name and email address into an iPad which will be provided at the ‘Fastest 5G Challenge’ stand by a Three “Brand Ambassador” at the applicable festival. These details captured will be automatically entered into the Game PD and used soley to administer, manage and fulfil the Prize (as defined at paragraph 6 below). See paragraph 10 below for further details on how we manage your data.
6. The Prize
6.1 The “Prize” is as follows:
- 1 Google Pixel 8 Pro to be won per Game PD at Parklife, Manchester (8-9 June 2024)
- 1 Samsung Galaxy S24 to be won per Game PD at TRNSMT, Glasgow (12-14th July 2024)
- 1 iPhone 15 to be won per Game PD at Wireless Festival, London (12-14th July 2024)
- 1 Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus to be won per Game PD at Latitude Festival, Suffolk (25-28th July 2024)
- 1 Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to be won per Game PD at Reading Festival (21-25th August 2024)
Three reserve their rights to substitute any element of the Prize at any time should circumstances beyond their reasonable control require them to do so.
7. Selection of winner
7.1 One winner per Game PD will be randomly selected by a computer process, from all Qualifying Entries for the relevant Game PD, approx. 7 days after the applicable festival has taken place. The decision will be final and Three will not enter into any correspondence.
8. Contacting the winners
8.1. Reasonable efforts will be made by Three to contact the winner of the Prize by email 1-2 days after selection using the email address provided by the Qualifying Entrant upon entry. Qualifying Entrants should check their email accounts (and in particular junk mail) approx. 7 days after the relevant festival. Three shall not be responsible in the event a winner does not claim the Prize because they have failed to follow these instructions or entered incorrect details into the iPad. If the winner of the Prize cannot be successfully contacted, does not claim the Prize within 7 days of notification (by responding to Three as directed), or is unable to comply with these Terms, Three reserves the right to offer the relevant Prize to another Qualifying Entrant (who will be selected in the same manner described in paragraph 7). Failure to respond or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
9. Redeeming the Prize
9.1. The winner of the Prize will be required to provide a UK address to receive their Prize. The winner may also be required to submit additional valid identification before receiving the Prize.
9.2 Unless otherwise advised at a later date, the winner will receive the Prize by courier to their address (confirmed upon acceptance of the Prize) approximately 7-14 days after acceptance of the Prize. Dispatch time will be subject to availability of stock.
9.3 The winner warrants that all information submitted by them is true, accurate and complete and Three is not responsible for any information which is invalid or incomplete, including any contact details. Should the winner have any queries, please contact us using the email address your prize-winning notification was sent from.
10. Privacy
10.1 Three operates as a controller in respect of any personal data that entrants supply when entering this Prize Draw. Three shall use such personal data for the purpose of administering and fulfilling this Prize Draw only in accordance with these terms and Three’s Privacy Policy (available at www.three.co.uk/privacy_safety/privacy_policies).
10.2. The winner of the Prize agrees to cooperate with any reasonable requests made by Three relating to any post-winning promotional activity (such as including their first name and entry being used in any, and all, Three marketing activity across all media). Three is required to publish or make available information to show that a valid award took place under this Prize Draw. To comply with this, Three will send the surname and county of major prize winners (and, if applicable, copies of their winning entries) to any person who emails threeplus@three.co.uk with the reference: Festival Prize Draw/3Charging Game/Fastest 5G Challenge within one month of the closing date. If you are a winner of this Prize Draw and object to any or all of these details being published or made available, please confirm this when you respond to claim your Prize. In such circumstances, Three must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested.
11. General
11.1 Play of the Game does not guarantee access to a Prize. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable. No cash alternatives will be offered. Three reserves the right at any time to substitute the whole or any part of the Prize for an alternative of similar or greater value where circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so.
11.2 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions (including altering the Prize) at any time without notice by updating these terms and conditions and publishing them at three.co.uk/terms-conditions.
11.3 The Game and the Prize is offered on an “as is” and “as available basis” and Three makes no representation, warranty or guarantee that the Game or the network will always be available or fault-free or be uninterrupted. Under no circumstances will Three (or its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies) be liable (unless such liability cannot be lawfully excluded) for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the Game, and Three excludes liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage caused to an Eligible Entrant arising out of or connected to the Game.
6.5 Participation in this Game and entry into the Game PD signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms are governed by English law.
